Bio

the basics.
They call me BJ (or Beej). I'm eighteen on October 23rd. I'm not exactly the expert when it comes to describing myself, because I am extremely difficult to describe. I guess the best way to start would be to simply say this: I am a lot of things. I am eccentric, yet I seem pretty normal at times. I see myself as street-smart, although I am by no means an intellectual. However, I've grown and learned a great deal about life over the past few years and I know how to get by. I still fall on my face occasionally, but then again, so do all of us. Laid back, I never fret over school-work or reputation. I don't see the point, as there are more important things in life to worry about. I try to keep hate at a distance, as hate only results in more stress over nothing. Although I dislike certain people, it is an entirely different emotion from hate. The same goes for excessive drama. It only complicates things. All in all, I never judge before knowing. Go ahead, talk to me. Chances are we'll get along well.

I love music with a deep firey passion. I listen to what gives me chills. There are no limits. But here are some examples:

movies & the telly

Any Alan Rickman movie! I've seen nearly every film he's done. ^_^

As for television, I don't want TV nearly as much as I used to. The only things I watch these days are House and Star Trek: Voyager, which are absolutey epic.

books

I know it's been said, but the Harry Potter saga is epic. I've been getting into the whole Twilight series, but I still find it pretty inferior to Potter. Severus Snape will always prevail over Edward Cullen, in my view. The Star Trek (Voyager) novels are awesome for the most part--Homecoming and The Farther Shore are probably the best.

heroes

Alan Rickman has been my hero for the past six years, and counting. He's such an amazing actor, and I look up to him SO much. I'll probably always feel this way. I've also been listening to Madonna since I was really young, and I think she's pretty awesome as well. I couldn't live without my friends, and they keep my [relatively] sane. As for fictional heroes, Captain Janeway kicks serious ass while Severus Snape will always hold a special place in my heart. :D
